July 2020 - The construction of the new laundry is now almost complete. The new washing machines and dryers have been installed. Many thanks to the strong backs of the team who carried each machine up to the laundry and to Rukundo and team who have done the installation.
All the machines have now been tested and are all working correctly, and the hospital laundry will be operating from the new premises by the end of the week.
The solar water heaters will be dismantled from the roof of the old laundry, serviced and replace on the roof of the new laundry as soon as the necessary spares have been received. There is one extra washer to be moved from the old laundry then the building will be demolished.
