Dr KANYARUKIKO Salathiel, was appointed Director General of Kibogora Hospital on 1st November 2018. The appointment was made by The Minister of health in collaboration with the Free Methodist Church in Rwanda. Dr Salathiel is a Rwandan Medical Practitioner who was born on 20th April 1954, in Nyamasheke District, Western Province of Rwanda. He holds a Master’s in Public Health and is a General Practitioner in Medicine. He was the recipient of a CAHO Scholarship from partners in the USA. He is an Active Member of Free Methodist church at Kibogora Parish.
He is married with 7 children and 10 grandchildren
Dr KANYARUKIKO Salathiel has been practicing Medicine for 16 Years. For a period from 2002 he served as a Medical Practitioner at Kibogora District Hospital. Between 2003 and 2012 he worked at Kibogora District Hospital as Medical Chief of Staff.
Between 2012 and 2014 he was appointed Medical Director at Bushenge Provincial Hospital by The Minister of Health.
Between 2014 and 2016 He was appointed Medical Director at Kirinda District Hospital by The Minister of Health.
Dr Salathiel is delighted to accept the position of Director general at Kibogora Hospital and is committed to the development of the hospital and all its services to the betterment of the Rwandan population, particularly those living in the Kibogora area. He looks forward to working with all partners, both in Rwanda and the Better Together partners overseas, to achieve those goals
