At last it looks like the Rwandan Government are about to finish the new road to the hospital, they have built the retaining wall and replaced the access from the mission to the hospital.
Building work continues on the Maternity ward. The roof is now complete, the photo from across the valley shows the blue roof of the maternity and emphasises the size of the building. The internal walls and floors are being finished and the window and door frames are being constructed.
It is anticipated that the building will be finished by the end of November, subject to us raising the last £100,000 of the £1 million cost of the project. All donations to this final push will be gratefully appreciated.
